One Fine Day at El Salvador
Thursday, December 26, 2013
The resort offers a great place to relax and enjoy the ambiance of nature. It has 39-units guest rooms, a fully-air-conditioned ballroom which is also divisible and convertible into smaller function rooms, tropical garden and open spaces for outdoor receptions, lagoon swimming pool with waterfalls, pool with an overflowing outdoor jacuzzi. COCO Bar & Restaurant, Buddy's KTV, Elsa Spa & fitness gym, F & B room service, Game/Volleyball court, Non-motorized watersports, automatic stand-by power generator, internet access and 24 hr. security. http://www.elsalvadorresort.com
It was out of the blue, unplanned getaway that we had last December of 2011. I had the perfect time to visit a resort finally in Danao. It is a well managed resort I must say plus the place is really clean and the rooms are great as well. Cable TV is available except that at that time we went there WIFI was not really a need since smartphones were in-existent for us then.
We arrived there at around 10 in the evening and then went about our usual preparation and booked ahead obviously since it was peak season.
The room that we got was the Garden View Standard photo credit to El Salvador website.
LOCATION
We enjoyed our stay plus the staff is very accommodating. We loved the food as well.
Elsalvador Beach Resort is located in the heart of the Philippines- the central visayas region. It sits on the eastern coast of mid-north Cebu, 33 kilometers north of Cebu City, particularly situated in barangay Sabang, Danao City, Cebu province, Island of Cebu. The resort enjoys the cool breeze and the charming sunrise of the east. The resort is very accessible being located along the northern coastal road of Cebu, 50 minutes of sight seeing ride from the Cebu international Port and 45 minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport. Danao City's business district is just 10 minutes of an enjoyable motorized tricycle ride from the resort.

My First Zipline

Hi Guys!
I have posted this on my other blog colorfull Bliss.
I am reposting it here just for the purpose of documenting my adventures here in CEBU.
I love this and the adrenaline rush that came with it.
I believe, that it has been 3 years since then. I haven't been to Busay recently but plans our set to once I have my Baby Adi grow up to be a toddler and I then can bring him together with the rest of my siblings there. Why not? =)
That 200 meter zip isn't bad at all for 200 pesos... I'd go for it some other time again.

A Leap of Faith
Things you need to know why I made this blog:
1. I have never travelled by boat. Though I travelled inter-island via the ferry boat from cebu to lapu-lapu island here in the Philippines.
2. I can't bike.
3. I can't Swim. My fiance A does which is a good thing. =)
4. I have never rode an airplane as of this writing.
5. I am a sucker for ziplines and crazy adventures but too afraid of height.
6. I have a fear of heights.
7. I like collecting travelling memorabilias from my colleagues and friends (pasalubong from other places).
8. I'd like this blog to inspire those who are like me to take that first leap and help yourself to travel.
9. My list will go on... =)
