PhotoBlog: Celebrating Chinese New Year 2021 at Pangeas Resort Cebu

Saturday, May 22

After almost 5 years, I finally went out again with my college friends Rachel and Shayne. We headed and visited Pangeas Beach Resort here in our new place in Liloan, Cebu. It was a great sunny day to enjoy nature and the scenic views of the sea and garden at this garden resort. I must say that they did a pretty decent job in keeping the place really cozy and I am quite fascinated at how exquisite the furniture here is. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and chill with amazing views, a cool pool, and views of the gardens by the sea.

Here are some of the photos we managed to shoot on that day we visited. It was the Chines New Years too!

You can't control everything in your life. I was born with a Curly hair as a reminder of that 🤷 Happy #pride🌈 So story, I was there at SM Cebu this weekend with my family coz we planned on watching Toy Story for free for the kids but soon found out that it was July 3rd schedule for that 🤷 what a tragedy but so since we were there already we managed to pay for four and watched the movie at 3pm. It was a nice movie I learned a lot of lessons from it. Great thing the kids enjoyed it too. Later that day, we decided to go to the Appliance center to look for refrigerators and did some price check. Everything was out of budget lol. So now, we are planning to get one from @facebookmarketplace instead. Who among you are a fan of second hand items too? Since we moved almost everything we have at home are second hand items. I even got this trendy tattered jeans from the marketplace too 😆😍 I think it's more practical and economical. What you think ?? . . . #ootd #tatteredjeans #petitemom #petitefashion #petitegirl #momblogger #fashionfinds #shoppingforappliancesbelike #lookgoodfeelgreat #momstyle #momfinds #momlife #bblogger #lblogger #buhaynanay #style #petitestyle #momentsofchic #whowhatwear #over30fashion #fashionover30

Mr. DIY Philippines branch Opens in Cebu

Mr DIY opens last August at J Centre Mall in Cebu. And as we were already looking for some things to buy for the home, we sure to dropped by and checked out their stuff.

What really caught our attention was the way the store was so huge :) They have a wide array of items from household items to simple craft and unique materials for your DIY party or home repair and decor needs! It was surely a happy place for moms like me.

According to Business MB,

Filipinos have also carved a name in the retailing industry globally that even the big foreign retailers are apprehensive to dive into the local shores. But not for Malaysian retailer Mr. DIY (Do-It-Yourself) whose aim is to become a household name in the Philippines and the entire Asia Pacific region in the next five years.
ROSELLE MARISOL BELLEZA ANDAYA is at the helm of its operations making sure Mr. DIY fulfills its vision
As to my research, Mr. DIY is the largest home improvement retailer and has a growing network with over 750 outlets throughout Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines and Asia Pacific serving 128 million customers.

The homegrown enterprise is now available online in Malaysia.
The store is such a humongous one at first glance you will really run out of items to look for and buy because they have everything that you need already.
Most Mr. DIY physical stores encompass about 10,000 square feet of retail space, providing a comfortable and wholesome family shopping experience.
With nine departments – hardware, household, electrical, car accessories, stationery, toys, gifts, sports, and jewelry & cosmetics in each store, Mr. DIY offers wide selections of more than 20,000 types of products with the lowest prices in the market.

According to Roselle, all Mr. DIY stores are owned by the company. This is the business model for the Philippines and the rest of the countries.
The selection of products in Mr. DIY Philippines is a result of studying the needs of both the Asian and Filipino families. Part of the standard system of Mr. DIY is to constantly monitor, evaluate and adjust its product offerings to best suit the value-conscious Filipino shopper.
Mr. DIY also seeks to cater to all market segments, gender, and age.
“Mr. DIY is a family store,” says Roselle.
Definitely true!
Check out our Youtube Video below for some of the items we got from the store and also a full view of the items inside.
